Step 1 – Download and Open the VLC Application on your Device
This goes without saying, but we feel like we should remind you. In order to use VLC, it has to be downloaded. You can download VLC directly from their website or if you’re on mobile you can download from your Play/App Store depending if your device is Android or Apple. Once you have it downloaded, now we must install it. Locate the downloaded file, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 2 – Open the VLC Application on your Computer/Device
Once the VLC installation program is complete, now it’s time to open the application up. Here is how to open the VLC application on:
Windows PC users should have an icon on their desktop, or you can click start –> programs –> VLC Media Player–> VLC
Apple Mac users will find the VLC application in Applications –> VLC.
Linux users can either find the application nestled somewhere in the XWindows media section or open a console window and executed with ./vlc
Android and iOS users will find the application on their device once VLC is downloaded and installed.
Step 3 – Add The Freedom Stream IPTV Playlist to VLC (or any other IPTV service too) for Apple macOS users and Windows/Linux IPTV users
This is the most important step of the entire process – adding the playlist to VLC. We’ve added pictures to make this step easier for everyone Follow these instructions in order to get your playlist loaded
Apple macOS IPTV Users
While VLC is open, click File on either the menu bar for mac OS users

Then open network. Type in or copy/paste your m3u link in URL Box, and press Open.

Windows/Linux IPTV on VLC Users
With VLC on either Windows/Linux, Click on Media at the top of VLC and then Open Network Stream
