3. IPTV troubleshooting – Check for Concurrent Downloads
If your router is currently downloading anything from any computers, gaming consoles or other devices, these processes can be paused or stopped. They could be slowing down your IPTV stream and hogging the internet. You may use a Wi-Fi blocker To make router filtering even easier, which my take care of the IPTV problems you’re having.
This is the next tip, but it’s more of a last resort. You may consider completely disconnecting devices from your wireless network. These devices could be running background processes that are using your internet in subtler ways.
4. To bypass ISP throttle, use a VPN
If your personal network connections are perfect and your IPTV provider has no problems with their servers, your internet service provider may be the problem.
ISPs are occasionally throttling their clients’ connections. This results in lower connection speeds and less stability during peak traffic hours. A VPN solution is a great work around solution.
5. Hardwire your Connection
This goes without saying, but a hardwired connection is significantly faster, more secure, and the preferred way for you to connect your device(s) to the internet/network. Sometimes hardwiring devices is not the easiest task, but if you can make it happen, you should. You’ll see a noticeable difference in picture quality, buffering (0r lack thereof), and overall performance. A hardwired connection coupled with a secure VPN connection for IPTV services is a perfect combination to get rid of all of your IPTV streaming woes.
